How does it work? Is this Legit?
You are getting a real plan from a reputable Canadian provider (Koodo) and your contract is between Koodo and yourself. You receive a bill from Koodo each month.
The coverage must be pretty bad for $50/month, right?
Nope. Koodo is a subsidiary of Telus and you get access to the same great LTE network & coverage.
Do I get to keep my current number?
Yes, you get to keep your current number.
How Long Does the Process Take?
The timeline depends on the billing cycle, and can be anywhere from 2-12 days.
Can We Meet in Person?
This isn't really necessary as everything is accomplished online.
You Must Charge a Fortune For Setup!
Our setup fee is $99.
Does My Phone Need To Be Unlocked?
Your cell phone needs to be able to take a sim card for the Koodo network. If your phone is locked to another carrier, you will need to unlock it.
Why Do You Need My Username and Password?
We need your username and password to make the necessary changes to your account, and there is no way for us to do that without this information.
Why Do You Need My Account Number/PIN?
When we submit a request to transfer your number from your old carrier, your old carrier requires proof that we are authorized to transfer the number. We provide your old account number/PIN as proof that we are authorized to port your number.
Is My Information Secure?
Your information is kept private and secure. As an extra precaution, we always recommend changing your password after we install your plan & transfer your phone number.
